Women in Green: Resilient by Design in Ohio

Rooted in empathy, adaptability, and enduring strength, women possess a powerful resilience to lead through crisis and uncertainty. In roles where foresight, protection, and healing are essential, women rise—not in spite of adversity, but because of it. Like a force of nature, they are resilient by design.

As billion-dollar climate disasters continue to rise, women in green building do too. In roles of designer, developer, construction, sustainability manager and beyond women are taking the lead and crafting scalable solutions.

In 2026, we will have ample opportunity to gather to build, strengthen, learn from one another and cultivate the tools that help grow and sustain our resilience mindset in support of our work and balance. Each Women in Green event will discuss a specific mindset that supports building resilience in our lives. Our USGBC Ohio Women in Green will center our conversation around purpose – leading with purpose, designing with purpose, how finding our purpose centers us and builds our resilience.

Through panel discussion, small group conversation, and facilitated networking, attendees will gain real-world insight into everyday courage in times of challenge and change, recognize their own leadership potential regardless of title or role, and build lasting connections with peers. They’ll leave feeling inspired, empowered, and reconnected to their purpose in helping create a stronger, more resilient future.
