Before Greenbuild
Prepare for the conference through two virtual sessions focused on green career exploration & readiness, and professional development and Greenbuild preparation.
These sessions will acquaint you to green building and green careers and help you to know what to expect at Greenbuild so that you can set yourself up for success and have the best possible Greenbuild experience.
During Greenbuild
Join us at Greenbuild throughout the conference! Future is Green registration includes access to keynotes and the Expo Hall on Wednesday and Thursday, and a full day of programming on Friday.
Friday programming includes education sessions, structured networking opportunities, and a speaker lineup of inspirational industry leaders.
After Greenbuild
Stay connected through continued learning opportunities, professional resources, and engagement with the USGBC community.

Pricing
All tickets include pre-conference webinars, access to Greenbuild's keynote addresses and Expo Hall, meals, education sessions, and core programming on Friday.
Registration can be purchased directly by students, or schools may sponsor a group of students with an offline invoice process. Contact us if interested in sponsored group registration.

Future is Green registration only provides access to select Greenbuild programming. No further registration is needed for the Future is Green program, buy you may visit the Greenbuild website to purchase student registration for full conference access.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible to attend the Future is Green program?
Future is Green registration is open to all students currently enrolled in a higher education degree program or workforce development training program, as well as recent graduates of higher education or training programs (1-2 years since graduation).
Are there any discounts available for registration?
There are no registration discounts available beyond the early bird rate. However, schools may sponsor Future is Green attendance for individual students or groups of students from the institution.
Are meals or transportation included in registration?
Registration includes breakfast and lunch on Friday only. Attendees are responsible for the cost of any additional meals as well as transportation throughout the week of Greenbuild.
What is the refund and cancellation policy?
We are not offering refunds if attendees are unable to participate in on-site Greenbuild programming, as pre-conference and post-conference education & engagement opportunities will remain available to all registrants. However, if you do not plan to attend on-site programming, we encourage you to let us know so that we can open up additional spots to anyone on the waitlist.
What is the dress code?
The suggested dress code for Greenbuild is business or business casual attire. The second pre-conference webinar (Professional Development & Greenbuild Prep) will go over recommendations for attire, alongside other tips for on-site professionalism at Greenbuild.
Do I need to register for Greenbuild Conference after registering for the Future is Green program?
No, you do not need to complete any additional registration or payments for Greenbuild after completing your Future is Green registration. Registration details for FIG attendees will be shared with Informa so that you are able to check-in onsite and access eligible programming (see below for list of Greenbuild programming included in FIG).
What Greenbuild programming is included in Future is Green registration?
Future is Green registration includes access to the following Greenbuild programming:
- Keynote address on Wednesday & Thursday morning
- Expo Hall access on Wednesday & Thursday
- Pre-conference breakfast on Friday morning
- Friday education sessions (3 sessions)
Future is Green registration does not provide access to education sessions on Wednesday & Thursday, evening programming, summits, workshops, or tours.
Future is Green attendees who want access to the full conference should purchase a conference pass through the Greenbuild website. Please note that Greenbuild registration is managed by Informa, not USGBC, and that refunds are not available for the conference once registration has been purchased.
I am already registered for Greenbuild, is Future is Green included in my registration?
No, Future is Green is not included as part of any Greenbuild registration, and must be purchased separately from Greenbuild registration.
