    Join USGBC and GBCI for an overview of LEED v5 and its role in positioning buildings as part of the solution to critical environmental and social imperatives.

    The presentation will primarily focus on the LEED v5 Operations and Maintenance (O+M) rating system.

    It will discuss the impact areas of decarbonization, quality of life, and ecological conservation and restoration, and how they align with LEED v5 credits to foster real-world change. The highlights of each credit category will be reviewed, including significant changes from LEED v4 and LEED v4.1. Additionally, the presentation will share the tools and resources available to support project teams.

    Objectives:

    1. Identify the key principles and frameworks of LEED v5, emphasizing the components of the LEED v5 Operations and Maintenance (O+M) rating system.

    2. Discuss the impact areas of LEED v5 and their connection to LEED credits.

    3. Identify the benefits of each credit category, including important changes from LEED v4 and LEED v4.1.

    4. Locate the available tools and resources that will effectively assist project teams in achieving LEED v5 certification.
