Rooted in empathy, adaptability, and enduring strength, women bring a powerful resilience to navigating crisis and uncertainty. In roles where foresight, protection, and healing are essential, women rise—not in spite of adversity, but because of it. Like a force of nature, they are resilient by design.

As billion-dollar climate disasters continue to rise, women in green building do too. In roles of designer, developer, construction, sustainability manager, and beyond, women are leading and crafting scalable solutions.

In 2026, we will have meaningful opportunities to gather, strengthen connections, learn from one another, and cultivate the mindsets that sustain resilience in both our work and our lives. Each Women in Green event will explore a specific mindset that supports resilience. Our USGBC Georgia Women in Green will center our conversation around strong support—how showing up for one another, sharing knowledge, and building trusted relationships strengthen our collective resilience.

Through panel discussion, small group conversation, and facilitated networking, attendees will gain real-world insight into navigating challenges with the support of others, recognize their own leadership potential regardless of title or role, and build lasting connections with peers. They’ll leave feeling inspired, connected, and energized—reconnected to their purpose and supported in helping create a stronger, more resilient future.
